Many of us have seen savings groups vanish or relatives lose money “invested back home.” Here, plainly, are our rules.
We never promise profits, fixed returns or quick money. Anyone who promises you that in our name is not speaking for the Alliance.
Joining makes you a member, not a shareholder. Shareholder standing requires qualifying capital in an approved program, a written approval, a shareholder number, an effective date and evidence on file.
Each contribution is logged in the member portal with its date and amount. Members see their own standing at any time, and records are kept with an audit history — nothing is silently changed or erased.
Rotating savings (njangi), the capital formation fund and any approved program are tracked separately, so money set aside for one purpose is never mixed with another.
Participation can start at 10,000 FCFA a month. Reliability matters more than wealth — nobody is pushed to put in more than they can afford.
Members meet every week. Spending capital on a venture requires a recorded vote of eligible members — not one person's decision — and every resolution is minuted.
We focus on community-serving, cash-flowing businesses in Cameroon before any larger ambition. Formal incorporation is under way; until it is complete, we say so plainly.
Ask to attend a weekly Assembly as a guest, ask any member how their contributions are recorded, and take your time. A serious group will never rush you.
